Dr Eleanor is deeply passionate about psychology, improving well-being and promoting positive mental health. She is committed to providing scientifically validated psychological intervention to children, youth and adults to work through trauma, anxiety, depression and many other mental health issues to improve their well-being and quality of life.
Dr Eleanor strongly values building a genuine therapeutic alliance with each client and her therapeutic approach is warm, genuine, non-judgemental, compassionate, and client-centred.
Dr Eleanor is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with a decade of experience working in the local public sector with children, youth, and adults, as well as governmental and non-governmental services. Dr Eleanor has extensive postgraduate training and holds both a PhD and Masters in Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from Murdoch University, Western Australia. She is Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) College of Clinical Psychology, and a Member of the APS. Dr Eleanor is also a board approved supervisor for psychologists-in-training and Clinical Psychology Registrars.
Born in Singapore, Dr Eleanor has resided in Australia since 2004 and completed all of her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Australia. She is a proud Mount Cotton local and has called Queensland home since 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys nature, spending quality time with friends, family and her furfamily, reading, and embarking on gastronomical adventures.
