Psychological Therapy Fees
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends an hourly rate for psychological services of $311 (2024-2025 financial year) (please click here for the full APS fee schedule). We provide a reduced rate for both private and organisational referrals.
We are registered with Medicare and rebates are available for eligible clients. To receive psychological services under a Medicare rebate, you must be referred by your GP (or Psychiatrist or Paediatrician).
From the 1st of July 2025, individuals with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GPs (or in some instances, Psychiatrists or Paediatricians) are able to receive a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session with a Clinical Psychologist. Eligible clients are entitled to up to 10 individual sessions with a psychologist per calendar year. You will need to have your Mental Health Treatment Plan before you come to the first session in order for your rebate to be processed. Your Medicare rebate will be processed electronically at the end of your consultation.
